The Organic Centre was established in 1995 near Rossinver, County Leitrim. Promoting organic gardening and sustainable living through:
As well as community and school projects; the aim of the centre is to provide training, information and advice on organic farming, gardening and sustainable ways of living.
The on-site demonstration gardens include seven polytunnels, an orchard, outdoor gardens, ornamental beds and a woodland. There is also an eco shop with seeds for herbs, vegetables and flowers and stocks wildflower seeds that are produced in Ireland.
At Portbeg we can accommodate over 100 people we can also provide separate leader/teacher accommodation or a private room in each house.
We also have 24 hour supervision on site. We can offer a wide range of activities for your group. Our houses are self-catering with fully fitted kitchens.
